Everyone has their own hobbies, and some people’s hobbies are so special that they can’t be understood by others. Unfortunately, I am one of those people. Believe or not, I like buying books pretty much and I am always crazy about searching for cheap books.
I don’t know the exact reason why I love this kind of thing, but whenever there is a book sale, I can’t wait to have a look. At home, I always stayed around the book stalls for a long time. I still remember when the book store near my home was moving, the store had many discount books. Seen from today, they were not very cheap cinsidering the 50 to 60 percent discount. But at that time, I thought there couldn’t be cheaper books, so I bought a lot, most of which I haven’t read until now. Then during the days I am in Singapore, there has been a sale of books priced 1 dollar or onwards. That has made me so excited that I nearly go to the book store everyday after lunch and bought some cheap books that I can’t understand. I know clearly it’s a bad habit to buy books ,but not read. I hate myself sometimes. But what can I do? That’s my hobby. I can just hope there will be less book sales in NUS in the future.
