It Is More Than A Fairy Tale
After our tutor Ms Yap Swi Neo recommending many books to us,I carefully chose a book named "A LITTLE PRINCESS".At first,I didn't know what the book is about.I chose it just because it has an attractive title. As I reading it,I reconised that it is the story of a little girl,Sara, who was a favoured missus before her dad's death.Indeed,I had read about the story when I was young, but it is a picture book.I didn't expect to learn much from a book for children orginally, however,as I read it day by day,I was moved by the little girl's kindness, bravery, grace to everybody, even to the venomous people who made her suffered a lot.No doubt that I have learnt a lot from the book, not only get close to the language, culture of western countries, but also have a brief understanding of the days in the long past years when the gap between different classes is so significant. In the end,I want to share the words Sara spoke to herself when everything seemed so bad with everyone:"If I am a princess in rags and tatters,I can be a princess inside. It would be easy to be a princess if I were dressed in cloth of gold, but it is a great deal more of a triumph to be one all the time when no one knows it."
