My first performance in Singapore

In January 24th,we gave a performance in NUS representing Wuhan University.The performance was so successful that we all took pride in ourselves.
About a week before,we got the news that we were to perform in an school evening party for juniors.Initially we felt dazed because we didn't know what to perform .Through a discussion we came to an agreement that we could put on a series of music with singing and dancing.
One girl in our group proposed a wonderful idea that we could choose some classic music and act it out in a creatively amusing way.Then anoher one designed some actions and we also took transitional parts between different songs into consideration.
The we spent several evening leisure time preparing for our performance.Indeed,we felt tired,sometimes even bored with the training again and again.However,we got stimulated when we finished a new part .One of the funny things during the preparation was that while we were training on the basketball playground one night,five boys were not far away from us.To our surprise ,we found nobody anymore after we danced only a few seconds.Was it because that our behavior was a fright to them?How funny and stange!
On last Saturday evening,we gave the performance.It's arranged in the fifth program.In order to prepare well ,we came into a waiting room as soon as the third was on .We felt nevous coming onto the stage.However when we was daning and singing ,we were more confident with beatiful light shining on us.In front of the audience we were happy to hear applauds flowing one after another.
It's the first performance since we came to Singapore.Thanks to it ,we adapted to the new life more quickly .In the meantime ,we had fun with new friends,who seemed to be my sisters and brothers.I hope in the future life stage we can perform more fine programs with our friends to enjoy a colorful life together.
