Thoughts on Life (M.L.)

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they are meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, to teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you really are. You never know in advance who these people may be--a friend, a professor, a neighbour, or a complete stranger. But when you fix your eyes on them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
Sometimes things happen to you may seem unfair and painful at first, but in reflecting you will find that without overcoming these obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart. Suffering for a sore experience, mourning for the loss of a loved one, and grief over an unrealized childhood dream all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved flat road that can lead us to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life and the ups and downs you experience all help to shape your character and view, help to create who you are and who you become. Therefore, try to stop and look back upon your life occasionally to find and learn the lessons that life implies. Live with your heart, and make every minute counts.

  1. I agree.
People come into and out of our life. We are always surrounded by someone, but we don't why he should be there. When looking back one day, a magical thing will happen. We find they are suppose to be there. Every person we meet is just like a small gear in our big machine. If they are not there, our life can never be the same.Whatever,we should be thankful to all the people we meet, because they help us to build up our characters and future, good or bad.But don't complain about the people we meet, because we choose the way we go to. They take no responsibality for our failure.

  2. I take the same view as you. I remembered once a tutor told us that life is not a bed of roses. I'm not sure whether I took the right meaning of it, but in my opinion, it was just similar with your thoughts on life. One's life path cannot be smooth all the time. Without doubt we all may meet obstacle in life, some of which are so tough that we scarcely overcome them. However, never ever should we give up.
