This Sunday I made a visit to the NUS Central Library. How luxurious it is .There are six floors .As soon as I took a lift to the fourth floor, I got a view of two warm-hearted librarians. I greeted
them and showed my student card, then I went in.
The facilities are very fine and completed, including computers, silent areas, reading rooms as
well as various kinds of book collections. I felt excited and a little dazed about so many books.
On the third floor there’s a book collection. On the fourth floor, there’s a journal collection, a
reference collection and a Malay-Singapore book collection. So many books, I felt that I was
swimming in the sea, the knowledge surrounding me.
My seniors are busy learning ,and the atmosphere is very good. Some of them are discussing,
some reading, some typing on the computer. I hope soon I could be dissolved in the group.
The most unforgettable floor I think is the sixth. Because it has the Chinese library. The books
are valuable and various. It stores books about history ,literature, arts. There’re also many
paintings, brush writings works and lanterns, antithetical couplets
I got in touched with my parents, they’re happy to see that. I think we should make full use
Of the convenient facilities and work hard.
