Singapore is Singapore .It is diferent from china .Life here is more free and relaxed that in China.Nobody will tell you when to sleep and when to get up.You can stay up to what time you want if you can arrive NUS in time in the next morning. Sport facilities here is quite good for me .I can go to the Sports and Recreation Center to enjoy myself while working out .
Lifestyle here is a little tropical style mixed with western style .Shorts and slippers are the most common dress on the street.Shops often do not open before 11am.People here do not have the practice of napping. They come back to work just after a short lunch time.I start to get used to the traffic condition and rules here. The traffic comes the left while in China it comes right .
The atmosphere of Chinese New Year really disappoints me.As traditions fade gradually in China ,I used to imagine something good, more traditiional. However, the realistic struck me .The Chinese New Year here is only a holiday ,not a festival.Very few people celebrate this day and the streets get empty .
Life abroad means a lonely life --no family members around in the Spring Festival, no food made by mama .But never mind !I still have friends here--new and old .
When I get up the next morning breathing the fresh air ,I will proudly claim "I come, I see,I conquer!"
