Friends to thank(JEGA)

Friends to thank
In our life, there are always friends somewhere to give us help and warmth when we need them. Of course, I have come across such friends during my school years, who have taught me a lot. I really want to thank them in some way, and perhaps writing is a good one. In my writing, I will not refer to their names, as you can’t know them anyway, so there’s no need.
In high school, there are people to thank, especially the following few. One of them is a girl. I spent the longest time with her in school. In the first grade, we were not in the same class, but for the sake that we worked in the same department in Student Union, we had a few chances to stay together, and in the second and third grade, we were assigned in the same class, when we always stay together. At that time, I was still a greenhand in doing the work in the Union, so I’ve done a lot of things silly and sometimes even displeased her much. She never cared about these things. She was always a happy girl even in the tensed life in school. When I was with her, I felt I was transmitted by the good mood. What a kind friend I have! Then I will talk about a boy, who is also an active and happy person. He came to my life in Grade Two, when I entered a new class. He was so talkative that he always had competition in fast talking with us. Thus we got to know each other and became very good friends. I feel I was lucky to have a friend like that since he was the kind of people who were straightforward, so I acted easily and didn’t need to think much before I spoke. I am grateful also because in spare time, he was willing to do sports with me. You know at that time, few people would waste time exercising instead of studying. It was good to have a skilled partner who could deal with my bad kicks when I played badminton. What’s more, I ‘ve learnt one thing very important from him. It is concentration. He played a lot in fact. At first, I wondered how he could study so well with the little time. Then around the end of Grade Three, I finally found he was extremely concentrated when studying. No wonder, each time I called him when he was studying, he either couldn’t hear that, or he was greatly shocked. It was too late for me to find the reason why he worked so well and also why I couldn’t learn well, because the college entrance exam was then just around the corner. Therefore, he is in Nanjing University, but I entered CSU. But past is past. Well, another person also had a big influence on me. He was the president of the Student Union, in other words, I am his underling. And afterwards we even became deskmates for about three months. I learned a lot from him and he is one of the few I admire. In the position, he was not as proud as I had thought. I don’t think he was bright, but he was no doubt hard working. When I sat beside him, he was always studying and encouraged me to study. Now I can’t even contact him, but whenever I think I’m on the edge of energy, I always remind myself of him. He is one year older than me, and I think he is more mature, too. I learnt from his actions to do suitable things and say suitable words. I did many things so badly, but he tolerated my mistake. I am always grateful for what he taught me in life. And when I look back today, I can still gain something from the days we sat behind the same desk.
When let myself say thanks, I am a lack of words, I don’t know how to express. Perhaps, I can just say I feel fortunate to meet these people, who brought something to my life. I have more people to thank, but today I think I should stop here.

  1. This blog makes me think of my good friends. I always hold the opinion that it doesn't take a long time to make a friend, maybe two people become life-long friends just after a short conversation. I also learn a lot from my friends. It is them who give me the warmth while I am faraway from home. Thanks all my friends, and may them be happy every day!
