Today our group enjoyed a wonderful concert and I felt very happy.
Before it we had a buffet in Suntec City. The food was abundant and delicious. At first we stood in a line. I was a bit anxious when I saw so many people in front of me. After a protracted waiting, it came to my turn. I got the alluring food in my plate as soon as I could. After a while, I realized that the plate was too heavy to hold and filled enough to contain any more. The I came to my seat with my precious achievements. I think the fruit is the most tasty, including watermelon, candied melon and muskmelon. But we wondered why there was no Chinese flowering quince. The fruit was so cool and moist that most of us had it one bowl after another. There were also varieties of meat, vegetables and porridge. We shared our food and enjoyed it. We were too full to move any more,
The concert began at 3 p.m. The performance was excellent. They mainly performed with mouth organs besides guitar, tow-stringed bowed instrument and drum. The styles covered Italian, American, Arabian and so on. With the beautiful rhyme on, we all fell into it. I seemed to go outing with my parents and got a view of nice scenery in spring. When the rhyme was slow, I couldn’t help reminding of the beautiful trees, sky and winds. When it turned quick, I imagined my family were playing games and laughing. The most impressive music was called sky way, based on a Chinese current issue. It was made to honor a railway called Qingzang railway, collecting the remote western past to the East of China. The music was bold and generous, and made me proud and excited. Only one hour later, it came to an end. I felt reluctant to leave.
It was an unforgettable day. I want to experience more like this. What a colorful and meaningful day.

I'm glad to read your passage because it provided me with the information I wanted to know, i.e., the name of the place where we have our buffet.
ReplyDeleteIt may be strange for you that there was no Chinese flowering quince, but after all, it is not a very big buffet and we are in Singapore.
I think you have a good sense of music for your involment in the concert. And the name of the song is not as translated as you put it.
Anyhow, a good journal about your life!
