It’s no doubt that our days in senior 3 is a precious treasure in our lives. Many people think it’s very cruel and meaningless that we Chinese students fight for a whole year learning and reviewing and reviewing again. Actually, we didn’t learn anything new , instead, we just dealt with our learned knowledge and made it leave deep impression in our minds.
The last term before our university attendance examination , we had to wake up before 6 o’clock. But my parents’ work was harder because they should get up earlier and prepared breakfast for me to make sure that when I got my face washed I could have my breakfast . Then my father would drive me to school. Our school time began at about 6:50. Maybe my mind was not clear , I might still immerse my last dream.
It seemed that we were all monitored by our teacher all day long , you couldn’t talk to each other , must fix your attention on the blackboard , no sleepy faces . What was more , the afternoon exams everyday were nightmares for us . The results came out very soon and we took it seriously which made us depressed . The morning classes finished at 12:10 and then came our lunch time . We enjoyed our noon sleep at 1:00 which last 40 minutes. The afternoon part finished at 6:15 and dinner came. Often we had dinner at school because the next 90 minutes evening classes would came at 7:00 pm. Our school day didn’t finish until 8:30 pm. What a huge day it was!
Although many hold different ideas about this, I think our spirit of hardworking and our ability of tolerating great pressure will do good to our lives in the future. No trouble can let us down, we are the best!

ReplyDeleteI agree with you in some way.I think those years of studying very hard for exams really distroy my daily life route. I am now a bit confused what I should do except doing as I did before. But any way I appreciate the days I went through in high school and middle school. Everybody has his own way to grow up both physically and mentally. What made us mature was the more or less painful experiences before. I can't say exactly what I learnt in the studying before, because just like somebody said in a passage "they just make who we are". These experiences have already become a part of my soul, which can't be removed anyway.
ReplyDeleteYour blog remended me of the days before the National College Entrance Examinations.Yes, just as you said, the study tasks were overwelmimg and we were buried in study everyday. We Chinese students were destined to go through such school years and it felt painful. However, when we look back upon all these, we feel more fulfilled and released than painful or unbearable. It taught us how to balance the effort we spent on each subject and to schedule our time. What's more, it also taught us to get out the temporary failures to embrace a new and better day. I regard the days being a senior three as highly valuable.
ReplyDeleteYou just recalled many memories of us peers.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt that that period will become unforgetable for a whole life.
I think I was lucier than you because I lived in dormitory so I got up later than 7 am. and our morning reading started at 7:30.
Actually we obtained much during that time, rather than what many has said that we just review and review and learn nothing new.
It is during that time that we got more mature.
We 've come through that miserable and happy time.
nowadays, because the unlucky things keep happening to me ,i am always crying with tears on my face, calling back the wonderful days in my high school.i was complaining all the time and hoping the dark days could pass by as quickly as possible .not until now do i realize how wonderful those days were.i needn't consider any other things except my study.i could laugh happpily as loud as possible.i could complain,as much as possible.after all,i could be myself.
ReplyDeletehowever, now ,they won't come back forever.
I have not remindered my Senior Three life for a long time until I read your blog.I think that is an unforgettable exprience for every SM3 student, because we all had university attendance examination.Though it was a hard time for us,now we have overcome it and here we are in Singapore. That year let me know what difficults are and we will never give up or give in when we face them.
