Yesterday I watched a movie named
Aga, an unsuccessful singer of a band; Yue, an old postman; Frog, a repairman; Dada, a little girl who plays the piano in a choir; Malasun, a booze manufacturer; Rauma, an ordinary traffic police founded a band, and were required to give a performance three days later in order to show the traditional culture of the village. That made Tomoko, the public relations miss, very unhappy and disappointed to the job. While story started to change when Yue broke his leg, and handed the job --- delivering letters to Aga. Aga found a parcel from
Seven love letters read in sentimental Japanese penetrate the whole story, with the other clue: love between Aga and Tomoko. The love of the past and the love of present combine naturally. Maybe, it is right the arrangement like this that better reflects the character of our age: We advances in a fast pace, we look proud in appearance but still can not escape from the disconsolate loses in ourselves; we fight but also compromise; we get accustomed conditioning by the environment, we work for the job we don’t like just in order to survive, while the real dream never give in to the destiny from the bottom of our heart; when life seems turning to be in despair, in fact, hope hides just somewhere waiting for you to discover it…
After sixty years’ waiting, the granny finally got the response of her boyfriend. Accompanying the dust-laden memory, Aga found his lost dream and new-born love. Passing though the history, that ship which carried away granny’s boyfriend and never was heard of since then seems secretly coming back to the port of the peace village. Through these yellowing letter paper, two souls which can not be together sixty years ago, meet at the moment…
Youth always makes people have extraordinary courage. In our mind, nothing is impossible. We swear confidently even if we are far apart from each other, even if time brings great changes to the world, nothing can change our love. While distance and time really come across, some one gives in and starts another love, after all, life must be carried on; some one spares no efforts to guard that unrealistic love. However, everyone cannot put down that no ending story. There is something we cannot explain why, because it is decreed by fate. Unexpected encounters, unforeseen possession, who can say it is not the gift fate gives us?
I hide myself in every corner you once came. I’m not evading, nor am I regretting, I’m here, only because there once was your figure. Please let me recall everything about you silently here.
Mountains are still mountains. Seas are still seas. But where is the person I’ m waiting for? How I wish I can stop the time, and see what eternity is.
