The Day of Open House in NUS(AW)

The Day of Open House in NUS
Since I was still in the dilemma of which course I should choose for my university, I had longed for the Open House for a long time, which aims to eliminate students’ confusion about university courses. In order to reach the place at an early time, I did not allot enough time to my sleep. So I pulled myself out of bed in the early morning. Subsequently, on the bus to NUS, my curiosity about the Open House kept striking me and I could not wait to see what it would be like.
It was a pleasant day. I walked along the path in the warm sunshine with breeze blowing through my hair. From far away, amounts of noises came to my ears. As I looked up, I found there were large quantities of people gathering around a building, which was well decorated with numerous lovely balloons and colored ribbons. “It must be the Open House!” I screamed with excitements. Could not holding back my great curiosity, I speeded up my paces. The crowd surged into the Open House including me, which suddenly revitalized the formerly spacious hall. There was a student activity show in the hall, which presented the colorful university life in various dimension. Everyone there was indulged with a cheerful atmosphere. Walking out of it, I was greatly impelled to enter another hall by the curiosity. This huge hall which can accommodate nearly five hundred people was filled with students, parents and staff. People moved around and discussed warmly. I walked from desk to desk to inquire information about different courses. After a while, a large pile of various course handouts was in my hands. With my strength running out, I took a seat and talked with my friends about courses in a corner.
After the day, my visit to Open House drained my last ounce of energy. However, it was worth the time and efforts since I had gained a better understanding of courses after that.
