Last Sunday my friend went to Australia from Beijing and she would change the airplane in Singapore for about 9 hours. She told me that the plane was about to land at 3pm. I decided to see her off.
I have never been to the airport before and I just knew that the underground would carry me to the airport. I just phoned another friend and she told me that I should change the underground when there was three stops to the final stop. She also told me that the underground stops at Terminal 2 and I needed to take the skytrain to the other two Terminals. It sounded a little complicated and I was not quite sure about what she said. What’s worse, I didn't ask my fried her flight number, which means I didn't know which Terminal to go. Anyway, I should go to take the underground first. I started off at 1pm. It took me about 40 minutes to get to the airport. After I got off the underground, I found that there were some boards showing the information of the departures and arrivals. I was very excited and grateful for the airport. I looked at the board to find the information and I knew that my friend’s flight number was SQ817 and it arrived at Terminal2. I was quite glad to see that because I didn’t need to go to other place. I followed the sign to the arrivals. Although the process of finding the arrivals was a little bit hard, I got to know that the terminal has 3 storeys. The first floor is for passengers to check in and departures. The underground is for arrivals. The second floor is for passengers to have meals. Finally, I saw my friend off successfully.
From my experience I can tell you that you won’t get lost in Changi even if you have never been there before.
