Thank god! The phase one is finally going to be an end, which seems to be going rather fast though. But I am really tired and bored about the studying and stuff right now. As we all have experienced, every week we have to study 4 days for English. We always have to get up so early in the morning regardless of my eyes so hard to open up. After we get to our classroom, tired and sleepy as we are, we have to go on to do the silent reading. Those nearly a hundred of reading cards full of endless and tedious words always make me fall asleep much easier. But I have to fight against my willing to sleep; otherwise I will lose one big part of my study that day. Then we start to deal with the textbook and the SMs with our tutors. I must the SMs are pretty good written, sometimes the articles in them are really interesting and easy for us to read. However, in terms of the textbooks which are both heavy and hard, those obnoxious nightmares always make me fed up and feel like just throwing them away. Again, I should say it is very remarkable that I am not dominated by my unpleasant thoughts about the textbooks. I really try my best to cope because in my deep heart I really have the desire to learn something. And “no pain no gain” which I learned can just explain it.
Having talked so much about my tiredness and attitude, I think I should also revolve about what actually I have learned or improved after the first phase. Generally, I think I have learned and improved a lot. I have enhanced and enriched my vocabulary a lot. I try to learn some new words which I meet during the class and write them down in my notebook which makes it possible for me to review them later. And the oral reports really help in improving my verbal and presenting skill. Speaking and listening to English everyday also makes me adapted to a new environment of only speaking English. The journals and essays and so on enable me to start to write something really looks like them. In conclusion, I feel so happy that I have really made some progress.
So, I am going to relax myself well in the coming recess week and get myself ready for the next phase of intensive study. And first of all, I am going to have a really nice sleep!

I have to say I have some different ideas about what you say. Obviously, phase 1 is much easier than phase 2.If we phase 1 is over that means our honeymoon is over. In addition, the longer we learn, the more bored we feel. So I don't the end of phase one means something good. But I am very glad that you have improved yourself in many ways. I don't think I improve that much. Anyway, I am also looking forward to the coming recess week.
