My Favourite Basketball Player(YAP)

Allen Iverson has come into my life and become my favourite star since I was 12 years old. At first it was his excellent skills, fantastic breakthrough and exciting playing styles that attracted me, but later, after knew more about him, it was his spirit of struggling against the unfair life and never giving up that made me become his faithful fan.
Like many other NBA stars, Iverson was born in slum and grew up in the projects as the son of a 15-year old single mother. His biological father never played any role in his life. But it did is his hard time in childhood that taught him to be strong and work hard to get what he want.
The one who dug out Iverson’s basketball talent and inspire him to success was his dear mother. One day after school, his mother threw a pair of Jordan sneakers which cost nearly two month's income of their family in front of little Iverson and said: "Today you're going to play basketball." From that day on, Iverson played basketball for several hours nearly everyday. He loved this game, and what was more important, he wanted to be successful and escape the slum. This year, he was only 9 years old.
Since he had the basketball talent and the strong will to become success, his way went on wheels. But when he was 17, the fate played joy with him again. He was involved in a black-white fight and be sentenced to 15 years in jail wrongly.
It seemed that his dream had come to an end. But Iverson didn't think so. He did every job in the jail very well and at the same time, grabbed every chance to justify himself. After soon, he was released because the police could not find any concrete evidence. Once more, he fought to get what he deserve successfully.
After entering NBA, his road also was not straight.People did not like him because he was so special and would never give up his way. In fact, he is a brave fighter in the court. Only after he made many achievements that people stopped criticising him as a person who never respect others. Yeah, he would never be stopped by people's criticism.
I think the only thing that can stop Allen Iverson is the injuries. Some time even the injuries could not stop him, in 2001 he led the Sixers to the final games against Lakers. After so many tough games, Iverson had got many injuries in his body, but he kept on fighting. After every games, he walked out of the stadium slowly just like an old man. When being asked, he just said, "this is my fate because I am not as strong and big as others. "
Now, many people said that Iverson is old and it is hard for him to make another big achievement. Anyway, wish you best, my AI.
