Playing Computer Games
Ihave never thought that I would play the original computer games in my laptop for such a long time and learn so much.
As a result of the poor Internet in Eton Hall,I didn’t attach my computer to the Internet,so I started playing one of the card computer games called “spider card “on my laptop to kill time,which,I thought were easy and boring to play.
At first,I was playing absent mindly and failed many times.it had been about two hours since I started played ,but I didn’t win for even once!! the game had really provoked me .i got very angry and anxious,for my failing all the time.several hours passed ,I still could not win.i was so depressed and felt hurt.how could such an easy game keeps frustrating me ?i could not let my failure go and I kept playing.the more I played ,the more depressed I felt.i think it had had really a terribly bad effect on me and I was even about to cry then!!
Then I breathed deeply and started playing in peace,during which ,I thought over for a long time and found that it is not an game that easy to play and it has indeed its own way to be worked out.
At last ,I won the last three rounds before stopping playing.actually,when I released myself from fulfillment satisfication, only to find that it was already three o’clock in the morning!!then I came up with the oral report,chengzhenlei made in the daytime—“time arrangement” and I knew exactly that how hard it is to arrange time well and I am definately not the one who could manage time well !!
Back to my topic,I learned so much:
Everything has its rule and only by cooperating with it sincerely could you handle it.
Everything is not always it seems.
Practice makes perfect,as only by failing can you learn something.every problem has artifices to solve,which depends on how familar you are with it.
Calm yourself before obstacles because only in calm can you think efficiently and critically,where you are what you are .
Where there is a will,there is a way.
You should know which card you want like what is the goal and what do you want in your life.

It's not suprised to find that it's quite late when you use computer.I have the same feeling, whenever I watch a movie or play computer games, I spend a lot of time without knowing it. Thus, it is better for us to keep away from computer. In fact, we can be addicated to it even we don't play games. As to your experiecnce, I think you like it and try playing it because you just think you can win the next round. That's why many people play games till late. I hope you can stop playing it.

ReplyDeleteIt's good for you to finally know something that is helpful for you! Sometimes we find it fairly simple to achieve some goals appearing easy. However, when we actually take it, we get to know the difficulty doing it.
And you really think hard about Lay's oral report about time management because it is never wise to play game till late in the morning! Never ever should you do such a meaningless deed again!

It is really interesting to read your blog. First, I feel sorry for you since you have no choice but to play bland computer games. I also hope the Internet in Eton Hall will get better. On the other hand, I am surprised that how could you choose such a boring game to play! Anything else could be better, I think. What is more surprising is that you even learnt something useful from a computer game. It is incredable to me. But it is just because this you are different from others who are addicted to computer games all day. However, I still advise you to give up computer games, since it really do harm to us in various dimensions. I hope you can find something else which is more interesting and helpful. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteThese card games are a source of killing time, but perhaps it's a bit too much playing untill three o'clock in the morning. It is good to have some recreation after a day's hard work, but we should know the limit. When we talk about time management, I think I learnt several practical tips from Chen Zhenlei's oral report that day such as ranking the tasks according to their importance and so on. Maybe we can apply this to our time management and get everything in order.
ReplyDeletesounds cool that you played such a game till the early morning. in fact ,computer games sometimes is a good thing that could kill time and improve our intellectual ability.something came out with necessity. nothing could come out without no reason. so it is good seeing you play the computer game whatever for.futhermore,we should also take the time in order so that we could take advantage the limited time.that only stand for my own oponion.
ReplyDeleteHaha,nice try for playing computer games! Your title has really attracted me! I always think that playing computer games is just a man's thing and seldom a girl could grow interest in it. But after reading your blog, I find it is wrong. Although you were playing such an easy and a little boring game-spider card, through your thoughts and attitudes, I figure out why can't girls playing computer games? As long as the games are interesting and fabulous, you will have a crush on it and really enjoy yourself. And as far as I know, some games can also contribute to your capability of sensing the direction and flexibility of your body! So why not play games for fun? By the way, I don't approve you staying up so late for playing games even though they are really interesting.
