I haven't got a chance to go to Nan Yang Technology University until last Saturday. We went to have DISC workshop there for the whole morning.Since our bus kept running on the highway for rather a long time, I really knew that NTU was so far from downtown. Finally,we got to the campus at about 9 am.The campus was so big that each building was quite far from the others, which had a big difference from NUS.Our activity was held in the lecture theatre 1.The huge building was surrounded by beautiful flowers and green trees, just seemed like a garden.
Thanks to the activity, I met my schoolmates from Beihang University who were in NTU.We hadn't seen each other for more than two months. To my surprise,I also met my classmate in senior high school who was in NTU as a SM2 student.During the break time,I went out with her to have a walk.Compared with NUS,I had to say that NTU was more beautiful and great.Because it had more money(I heard of it) and more land, there were many good-looking buildings and several nice and flat parks. The most famous library was called Li Weinan Library which was named after the great educator Li Weinan. It had five floors and owned many books of all subjects. When we went to the canteens, they were all well decorated like formal restuarants. The tables were clean and tidy and they served all kinds of dishes. There were some canteens under constructions.
The campus was too large for us to walk to each part.Even the students there might not viewed everything as well. And on Saturday there were no school buses on the afternoon. What a pity!I just wish I could have another visit in after a short period.

I agree with you at the point that NUT is much bigger than NUS. I feel entering a scene spot when the bus went into NTU. You can not tell out it is a campus if you are strange to it. But I heard that teaching areas in NTU are not much bigger than than in NUS. It is because there are more halls there such that the campus is fairly large.
ReplyDeleteI also met a high scholl classmate there, who is a be-friender on that day. I didn't recognize him first when he opend the door for me since his hair is so long that he looked nearly strange.
Thanks to the DISC workshop, I understood more about myself and got to know how to deal with myself and others!
I feel happy that we met our classmates in NTU, in Singapore they're like our family. At the same time, I like our caMpus NUS better because of its delicacy. Maybe, after the bridging course, we'll be happy if we meet our class in Group 4.
