I think this week was meaningful and I learnt a lot of things.
First, from our English class I acquired some new words and perceive much about how to cope with the distinctions between male and female. We can take advantage of our own goodness, at the same time learn from the other gender.
This Friday afternoon, we SM3 students and some SM2 had a lecture in NUS. It was important for us to get a view of subjects we’ll choose in April. Before the lecture, I prefer the information system. However, I heard that it was about analysis on between statistic information and economic situation. I decided to choose computer science which is more logical and creative. The lecturers were infective and patient and the lecture was interesting and systematic. I hope we can give such a successful lecture one day so let’s start well with the coming representation.
This Saturday was also unforgettable. We went to the NUS by bus and had a lecture about personality system. We got a knowledge of DISC insight, which depicts four types of personalities, thus domination, infection, security and control. D is good at deciding a solution quickly so he tends to be a leader. I is keen on making friends and flexible. S prefers to live a serene life and stays calm.
And C pursues perfection and picked about everything. After a quiz, I found I seem a C-S person. And I take things serious but I should pay more attention to relationship. I think it was right to much extent. In addition, we learnt how to deal with deferent types of people and put on a play related to the topic as well.
Another thing is that I had my computer repaired successfully and I appreciate the efficient service in Singapore. I’m determined to work hard to be a skilled worker, too. And I’m grateful to my classmates’ help with the call to the maintenance bureau and the QQ installation that makes it possible to get in touch with my family and friends because of the high price of a over-sea call.
I think if we pick up something every day, we can accumulate a great deal of knowledge. I feel happy to have a meaningful week.

Your week is so meaningful and I like it.Ifeel very happy that my classmate have a meaningful week.We are here to study rather than enjoy life.How I wish I could make everyday here fulfilled.The DISC personality test is so accurate that I have to believe it.Psychology is really a fascinating subject.It is good for us to read some books about it.I think it is good for us.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you have a meaningful weekend. But i am a little bit suprise to hear that you have finally decided to chose computer science for it is more logical and creative. I used to think a quite and emotional girl like you would like to chose that kind of majoy. I thought i was lifesciencce or something else. But, as long as you really like it, you should be stick to it and really put your heart into in.Anyway, I believe in you that it will truly work out. And in terms of the DISC lecture, I do think it kinda had some effection and use. It even explained why once my roommates got mad at me which I totally thought was just a unpurposed lapse. By the way, I am a S-C.
